Exxon Mobil lets drivers test its new battery technology

Driver's can have the chance to test out Exxon Mobil's new battery separator film by renting out one of the electric cars for rent at the Maryland Science Center. The cars, called the Maya-300, are powered by lithium ion batteries.
A company called Electrovaya created the lithium batteries, which rely on Exxon's battery film. It is hoped that this development will turn the tides towards electric car technology.
