A couple months ago I bought a new cell phone. When I first bought it I was getting great use out of the battery. I would go all day without it losing battery strength at all. I would go to bed and have full battery. Now my battery starts to go dead around 9 or 10 every night. I could not figure out why.
Well I have 5 phones lines on my account and when I bought a new phone, so did everyone else who had lines on my account. We all have the same phone. One of the people who have the same phone said they are getting like 2 days of use before they have to charge it.
I asked them what they are doing differently from me, to why they are getting better battery life. He said he only charges his cell phone when the battery goes dead. I have always plugged my phone in to charge every night when I went to bed. That is the reason his phone battery lasts longer.
He said that the phone battery kind of works the same way as people. It gets used to the same routine every day. So if I always charge my phone when I go to bed, its always going to expect to be charged that often. Therefor it would die around the same time.
That was some information that I did not know. So if you are getting a new cell phone, I suggest you only charge it when its needed that way you get the best use out of your cell phone battery.
