By dustin michael at 02/17/09 13:57

The other day I was trying to help a friend figure out why the phones weren't working in his house. I tried everything I could in the house to try and find the problem. After doing so, I figured the problem had to be outside where the lines come in to the house.

How a battery is made

By Kayla at 02/12/09 12:40

First you have the mixtures of manganese dioxide, graphite, and an electrolyte. That mixture is ground down and aged. Then the mixture is put into a pressed tablet. The tablets are then inserted into a steel can. The steel can and the mixture becomes the cathode of the alkaline battery. Then they put an indent at the top of the can and sealant is placed above it. They do that so the battery doesn't leak.

Battery For Keyless Entry Remote Keeps Dying

By dustin michael at 02/11/09 10:59

I have a 2002 Mercury Cougar XR. When I bought this car about a year ago, everything worked just fine. Like most cars, it came with a keyless entry. The remote worked fine for about two months. Soo Many batteries

By Mike at 02/09/09 10:00
If you have an xbox 360 you will know what I mean when I tell you how many batteries those wireless controllers burn through. I had a 24 pack of AA batteries and in a little over a week they were all used. I personally think the wireless/chargable controllers are the best deal for the 360. For one you dont need to spend more money for batteries, also you can charge your controller while you play instead of waiting for it to charge or untill you get new batteries.

Some people just drive with it until the battery dies and then get a new one. I don't recommend doing that. I would like to know when my car battery is going to die.
