Real Man Made Batteries

Mitochondria are the powerhouse of the cells of living organisms.  These tiny "powerhouses" are responsible for taking fuel and turning it into usable energy for all of the biological mechanisms necessary for normal cell function.  As they make energy for living organisms, they now are being used for other applications as an energy source.

Charging Cell Phone To Much Causes Less Battery Life

A couple months ago I bought a new cell phone. When I first bought it I was getting great use out of the battery. I would go all day without it losing battery strength at all. I would go to bed and have full battery. Now my battery starts to go dead around 9 or 10 every night. I could not figure out why.

Child Discovers $100,000 Battery

Fortunately for the D'Onofrio family of Brewster, New York, their toddlers curiosity paid off in a big way.  The child was like any other small child, curious and always getting into things that he should not be in.  This includes Stereos, TVs and yes remote controls.  It was when the kid messed with the remote control that the family hit the jackpot.

XBox - Low Battery Life in Controllers

This past Christmas I got an XBox from my girlfriend. I love it! There are so many things I can do on the thing. I can play games with other people around the world using my XBox Live account. I can post and view videos and pictures. I can have a video chat and send text messages to others. This game system is awesome!

Flower Power

It seems like you charge your phone or ipod or whatever device you may have, more than you use it.  This may be a thing of the past however.  Scientists are developing a small flower shaped battery for use in such devices that really redefines the meaning of "Flower Power."
