Japanese electronics giant Sony Corp. is on a difficult situation aside from the recent economic meltdown as the laptop/notebook makers are recalling over 100,000 laptop battery packs made by the company which is used by popular laptop makers.
The recall applies to Sony's 2.14Ah lithium-ion cell batteries which have been reported over a dozen incidents of overheating, smokes and small burns causing minor property damages. More details on the link below.
