I would like to tell my story about how a UPS saved the day for me while I was recording a song today.

I have a home studio and frequently work on intricate pieces of music. My computer is plugged into a battery backup slot on a UPS (uninterruptible power supply).

It was raining outside but there was no thunder or lightning that I could see or hear so I kept working away.

Right in the middle of a complicated piano piece, the power went out! If my computer would have not been plugged in, I would have lost about three hours worth of effort.

I think your experience clearly demonstrates the importance of having a (uninterruptible power supply).UPS, its money well spent and lets face it what price do you put on valuable data!
